15% Aluminum Sulfate per pellet designed to aid in retraction and control bleeding and keep tissue rigid and helps top avoid tissue collapse.
IFU:
- Applying direct pressure with a moist 2×2 gauze will improve hemostasis.
- In cases of diffuse bleeding, an additional pellet may be added to the buccal or lingual area.
- Normal tissue moisture will activate pellet.
- For rapid activation, dip in water, just prior to application.
Color-coded orange.
Supplied in a spring loaded, self dispensing, weighted plastic container.

Because of the high absorbency of the thread, it can absorb larger quantities of hemostatic solutions than is the case with braided or twisted cords. When using KnitTrax we recommend a thicker cord than is usual for braided or twisted cords since the knitted cord is compressed in the sulcus.
